With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we are gearing up for all the engagements that inevitably happen around this time of year.  With these new brides comes an upswing in our store as we fill it with brand new merchandise with the latest styles of all the accessories you will need.

Genettis Bridal Show

What a great show we had yesterday at the Genettis in downtown Wilkes-Barre.  It was wonderful meeting so many newly engaged brides in need of wedding jewelry, accessories, and gifts.  

The tiara and veil got lots of attention.  The comments I heard the most were that our selection of color choices for jewelry is huge and our prices are very reasonable.     Many brides were happy that they could buy their babushka at Bridal Trinkets.  

Wedding Rentals: Cardboxes

Need a card box for your wedding or shower?  We rent birdcages, treasure chests, wishing wells, and mailboxes of different sizes.  All our cardboxes come with locks so you don’t have to worry about your cards.  They all come white or ivory and we even have large wishing wells for the bridal shower in purple or pink floral designs.

Babushka – For the bridal dance

When I opened my retail store 14 years ago I did not know what a babushka was.   It is worn during the part of the wedding reception when the bride “dances” for money gifts.   It is a MONEY MAKER for the bride, usually making HUNDREDS of dollars.   The maid of honor wears an apron with deep pockets to collect the money handed to her while the person paying dances with the bride.

We have customers that drive more than an hour just to purchase the BABUSHKA.  In fact, a grandma & grandpa of the bride drove 50 minutes for a babushka for their granddaughter and ended up buying two because their other granddaughter is getting married next year.  Our prices on babushkas range from $12.95 – 14.95
